Easy Chocolate Cake Roll Recipe with cream filling – Christmas Recipes

Our today’s recipe is based on choclate which is Chocolate Roll Cake If you think making a stunning chocolate roll cake is a difficult task then let me tell you how easy it can be

This recipe has three parts

  • 1 Chocolate Sponge
  • 2 The filling
  • 3 Chocolate Ganache

Let me show you the ingredients we need for this recipe.

In a bowl, take 2 eggs and whisk them Add sugar, vanilla essence and oil Whisk and dissolve the sugar Take a sifter and sieve flour, cocoa powder and baking powder Mix the dry and wet ingredients together If you feel that the batter is thick, add milk accordingly.

I have added 2 table spoons of milk Continue to mix till your batter is ready Check the consistency of the batter Now take a baking tray and line it with parchment paper Pour the batter in the tray and spread evenly We kept our oven for preheating at 180 C Now we will bake the batter in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes Do ensure that the cake does not become dry during the baking process.

Once the cake is ready, demould it on a kitchen towel Sprinkle some icing sugar to avoid cake sticking on the kitchen towel Be very gentle when you remove the parchment paper Once again sprinkle some icing sugar and gently roll the cake Give it some time and let the cake roll cool down In a pan add fresh cream and bring it to boil Add butter and mix it well Add chopped chocolate and Switch off the flame Let the chocolate melt in the butter and cream Keep it aside and let it cool In a mixing bowl, take whipping cream.

Using an electric whisker, whisk it to soft peaks It’s been 10 minutes and now we will open the cake roll Spread an even layer of whipped cream on it. Do not spread the cream till edges Roll back the cake again Do not worry if the cake breaks in the rolling process I will show you a trick that will make these cracks vanish Now we will cover the cake with Ganache.

Here’s the trick Covering the cake with Ganache will hide all the cracks your cake might have And Finally using a fork we will create texture on the cake This is to beautify the cake And our fantastic chocolate roll cake is ready I refrigerated the cake for one hour This chocolate roll cake will steal everybody’s heart.
