Technology can be defined as methods, that ranging from as simple as language and stone tools to the complex genetic engineering and information technology. In simple way we defined it as the branch of knowledge dealing with engineering or applied sciences.

The period of technological changes is not new. As long as there have been people, there has been technology. It starts from Paleolithic – the bulk of the Stone Age. At the period of stone age, human used limited tools for the fulfilment of their needs. At this period, they gradually do improvement in tools. At this time technological made in the filed of survival, hunting, and food preparation. Stone tools and weapons, fire, and clothing were technological developments of major importance during this period.
After the period of stone age comes copper and bronze ages. At this period, changes are made in agricultural technology that included a development of agriculture, animal domestication, and the adoption of permanent settlements.
Iron age is another golden period of technological changes in past. At this period human being tired to discover tools and technology that are cheap as compared to copper and bronze. At this period introduced iron smelting technology. It generally replaced bronze and made it possible to produce tools which were stronger, lighter and cheaper to make than bronze equivalents.
Technological changes in past passing through various periods. Ancient civilizations produced the greatest advances in technology and engineering. After that, Egyptians invented and used many simple machines, such as the ramp to aid construction processes.
Chines also play the vital role in the advancement in technology.
