Ingredients Of Tandoori Chicken Salad Snack Starter

 

2 boneless chicken breasts, skin removed.
1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder.
1 teaspoon ginger paste.
1 teaspoon garlic paste.
1/2 Cup drained skimmed milk Yogurt.
The Salt according to taste.
1 tablespoon lemon juice.
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder.
1/2 tablespoons olive oil.
1 small green capsicum, seeded and cut into thin strips.
1/2 small red capsicum, seeded and cut into thin strips.
1/2 small yellow capsicum, seeded and cut into thin strips.
1 medium onion, sliced.
2 green chillies, chopped.
2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander.
1 tablespoon lemon juice.
1 teaspoon chaat masala.
1/2 small unripe green mango, chopped.

 

 

Method Of Making Tandoori Chicken Salad Snack Starter

 

1. Make incisions with a sharp knife on the chicken breasts and set aside.

2. Combine together the chilli powder , ginger paste, garlic paste, drained juice, Sara yogurt, salt, lemon m masala powder and two teaspoons oil. Rub the mixture on the chicken and marinate for three to four hours preferably in a refrigerator.

3. Preheat an oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6.

4. Thread the chicken onto skewers and cook in the preheated oven or in a moderately hot tandoor for ten to twelve minutes or until almost done. Baste with the remaining oil and cook for another four minutes. When cold, shred the chicken and set aside.

5. In a large bowl, combine together the shredded chicken, green, red and yellow capsicum strips, onion, green chillies, half the fresh coriander, lemon juice, chaat masala, unripe green mango and salt and toss to mix well.

6. Transfer onto a serving plate and serve garnished with the remaining fresh coriander.
